At Twinbrook Community Center in Rockville, Awaken Training delivers basketball training designed around one principle: everything must transfer to real game performance. Coach Joshs approach comes from years of helping athletes at every level learn how to actually play the game rather than rely on predetermined moves. Each session includes real parts of the game using live defense, pressure, and fatigue so players learn to read the floor and solve problems in real time.
The training methods are based on current skill acquisition research, ensuring that what you practice in Rockville actually shows up in your games across the DMV. Small group sessions (1 to 3 players) and private 1 on 1 training are available for athletes from Rockville, North Bethesda, Kensington, and surrounding Maryland communities.
